Camping Covelo is located on the banks of Lake Iseo with a 300 meters long lakeside. The water is clean and limpid, suitable for swimming.
The camping is very green and shady with an enchanting sight on the lake, its islands and on the surrounding mountains. Camping Covelo is a homely camping, based on a friendly relationship between the staff and the customer. To guarantee more relax to the families, a multilingual girl will take care of your children with creative games, activities and parties.
Our staff will organize parties for everybody, evenings with live-music and karaoke, happy-hour and much more. During your holiday you can choose to take part to our courses, among which we offer wake-board, diving, cooking, yoga and paragliding.
We organize trips and daily activities especially for our guests: journeys to discover Lake Iseo and its wonderful surroundings, mountain excursions, bike tours and wine tasting trips.
Our chefs cook specialties from the Italian tradition as well as modern recipes, all prepared with high-quality local ingredients, which you can taste being enshrouded by the wonderful atmosphere that only Lake Iseo offers. Our kitchen is open every day for lunch and dinner, as well as our pizzeria.
At Camping Covelo’s bar you can taste a wide selection of Italian wine, beer and cocktails, to try together with snacks and homemade dishes. Our special breakfasts are ideal to start the day in a relaxing mood in front of the lake.
At our minimarket you can find every morning freshly baked bread and croissant, fruit, vegetable and local food, as well as everything you need for your camping life. The supermarket is only 1 km from the camping.

George Sand, the French writer who is said to have loved De Musset and Chopin on the Sebino Lake, replied half a century later in a letter to a friend, _Come, I have found a marvellous place to live; its waters are as sweet and fresh as an eclogue by Virgil_.
Lake Iseo has been attracting writers and artists, thinkers and curious tourists from all over the world for a long time. It is an enchanting and romantic lake surrounded by olive and chestnut trees, set like a jewel among the mountains and embraced by hills that gently and gradually slope down towards Franciacorta, an area of extraordinary wines.
A vacation on the Sebino (the ancient name for the lake) means absolute variety, guaranteed by its remarkable and varying shape: the west coast gives picturesque, wild views, sheer rock-faces overhanging the lake, inlets and little coves; the east side is gentler, with hills that climb up to a thousand meters offering panoramas of enthralling beauty.
Outstanding buildings and works of art are preserved in both small villages and larger towns. Villas and castles, symbols of a timeless, historical memory, overlook the lake.
On Montisola (the largest European lake island which rises from the very heart of the lake and towers over it), the bucolic scenery offers breathtaking walks, with an amazing panorama and a perfect view of the two small islands of S. Paolo and Loreto which look as if they are escorting their elder sister nearby.
The opportunity of a stroll in the nature reserve of the Torbiere is definitely not to be missed and the network of paths all round the lake is the perfect way of getting to know this extraordinary territory first-hand.

The morphology of the Iseo Lake district allows tourists to practice many kinds of sport, diving into the whole nature around. You can discover characteristics paths, immerged in summer perfumes and lake flora colors. Local communities have always taken care of the unique flora and fauna of this territory.
Trekking can be practiced anywhere, through planned runs composed by signaled paths, as well as mountain bike. For the lovers of horse riding, there are many equipped and professional riding schools in the towns near the Camping.
The area offers great golf fields and water basins where fishing tournaments are organized.
Water sports have a special place in the lakeside lifestyle: sailing, canyoing and water skiing are practiced by many locals. During the years many sail associations have been founded here: among the most ancient ones there is the Associazione Nautica Sebina Ans, situated in a small pier between the villages of Pilzone and Sulzano, next to Camping Covelo. Ans is a professional sailing school that has trained European champions and sailors who have taken part in World and Olympic competitions. Besides Ans, other important associations are situated along the whole perimeter of Iseo Lake. In these places it is also allowed to rent boats and to attend lessons.
In some areas of the lake, for instance between the villages of Vello and Toline, thanks to the strong winds going down from Camonica Valley and the surrounding little inlets, you can also find many windsurf experts.
In many areas there are natural rock-climbing gyms, generated by the particular geological structure of the hilly flanks falling into the lake. And for fearless people, there are some flight schools and fields, where it’s allowed to practice paragliding and ultralight flight.
