Camping Capo Ferrato opende in 1965. Het is een van de eerste campings in Sardinië en wordt nog steeds door dezelfde familie gerund. Open van Pasen tot eind oktober. Op een schaduwrijk terrein van 20 000m² met eucalyptussen, mioperos en mimosas. Direct aan de zee. Vanaf de camping heeft u een schitterend uitzicht op de punt van Santa Giusta met de klif Peppino op slechts 5 minuten afstand. Maximaal 350 personen en 90 standplaatsen waarvan 24 met uitzicht op de zee en 26 bungalows met keukentje en eigen wc. Gezellige familiesfeer.

• dogs are allowed only during low season
WHAT WE ORGANIZE FOR YOU
• In June and September “Discovering a little bit about...Sardinia” with cultural and gastronomic entertainment programme, local products display, art exhibitions, folk group shows and entertainment for children.
• In July and August sports and evening entertainment (dance, physical training, excursions, etc.) as well as entertainment for children. During the night every activity takes place at the extreme end of the campsite, in order not to disturb the quiet of our guests
• naturalistic, archaeological and cultural excursions, organized together with local guides

Excursions
• The Promontory of Capo Ferrato (7 km), characterized by small inlets and rocks, ideal location for those who love fishing and diving
• The “Sette Fratelli” Park (10 km.). It’s a spectacular mountain range with canyons and covered with woods of Mediterranean vegetation, where a protected species lives, that of the “Sardinian deer”. It is possible take trekking excursions and to practise trekking in order to admire the suggestive natural landscape and the interesting archaeological sites of the nuragic civilisation
• Castiadas (10 km.) the village where you can visit an interesting agricultural penal colony which dates back to the XIX century, and for those who are interested in Sardinian life and culture the community organizes often handicraft exhibitions or folkloristic shows. In the agritourist complexes of the place it is possible to taste the typical Sardinian cuisine and the local wine “Cannonau” (is famous the cooperative wine growers' association of Castiadas)
• Villasimius (15 Km) the popular tourist resort (where you can find a marina, among other things), from where it is possible to take excursions by sail-boat or ferry to the unpolluted Seepark of “Capo Carbonara” and the Isles of Serpentara or “dei Cavoli”
• Muravera (30 Km) the chief town of the Sarrabus region, is renowned for the citrus fruit cultivation (in spring is the well-known citrus fruits festival), the production of handmade rugs , and the making of launeddas (a very old reed type musical instrument). This region is characterized by the presence of ponds, with an interesting avicultural fauna (pink flamingos), and of fish ponds, where mullets and eels, which are among the most appreciated in Sardinia, are bred

Be careful! We are not located in the village called Capo Ferrato!
Distance from Cagliari about 70 km, from Arbatax about 100 km, from Olbia and Golfo Aranci about 350 km.
1. From Cagliari (1 hour drive)
a) take the _NUOVA_ SS 125 in the direction of Muravera, then Costa Rei for about 20 Km
b) go along the coast road until Villasimius, then follow the markings for Costa Rei for about 15 km
2. From Arbatax (about 1 hour and a half drive) drive along the SS 125 until Muravera-San Priamo, then on to Castiadas-Costa Rei
3. From Olbia
a) (the easier road for caravans and camping-cars- about 4 hours and a half) SS 131 until Cagliari and then like in 1
b) (the easier road by car - about 4 hours) SS131 until Nuoro , then SS 389 in the direction Mamoiada, Lanusei until Barisardo, then drive along the SS 125 to Muravera - San Priamo, than like 1/a
c) (wonderful view but a lot of curves-about 5 hours). SS 125 until Muravera then go on to Costa Rei
